Largo Foods was fined €2,000 today in Navan District Court for a breach of Regulation No. 852/2004 and Regulation No. 178/2002 of the European Parliament.
Largo Foods deeply regrets and unreservedly apologises for this breach which occurred in May, 2015.
The action was brought by the Health Service Executive (HSE) in relation to a system malfunction that occurred in the production of one batch of O’Donnells Gluten Free 50g Mature Irish Cheese & Onion crisps.
